Introduction

Mollie is a very popular payment provider in the Netherlands. It supports different payment methods like credit card, bank transfers, iDeal payments or PayPal. With it's easy setup and low transaction fees, it is a good choice for your booking payments.

Configure the plugin

The DPCalendar Mollie plugin allows to add unlimited Mollie accounts to DPCalendar. When the plugin is opened in the back end, then you can click on the "+" button to add a new configuration. There you can fill the following fields:

  1. ID
    The ID of the configuration, must be a unique integer amongst the different configurations within the plugin.
  2. Title
    The title of the configuration. Appears in the drop down in the event form where you can select individual payment providers.
  3. Description
    The description which will be shown on the front end provider selection list when confirming the booking.
  4. Icon
    The icon which will be shown on the front end provider selection list when confirming the booking.
  5. Status
    The publishing status of the payment provider.
  6. API Key
    The API key, see below how to get it.
Mollie payment provider configuration

Obtain the API key

To activate the mollie plugin you need to get the API key from your mollie account.

  1. Log in on mollie.com.
  2. Click on "Developers" in the left sidebar.
  3. Click on "API keys" in the left sidebar.
  4. Copy the "Live API key" to the plugin. If you want to run it in test mode, then use the test key.
