Introduction

The "Line" plugin adds a possibility to draw some lines on an image while editing it in the Joomla media manager.

Please read the Concept of image editing plugins article to get more information how to get started with the plugin.

Line functionality for image editing

Options

The following options are available to configure the line:

  • Quality
    The quality of the generated image.
  • Type
    The type of the line, can be a normal line, arrow start, arrow end or arrow both.
  • Fixed
    When drawing a line if it is free hand, a straight line or fixed on the axis.
  • Width
    The width of the line.
  • Color
    The color of the line.
  • Opacity
    The opacity of the line.
  • Arrow Size
    The size of the arrow when it is selected as type.
  • Dash Length
    The line can be a dash then this is the length of it.
  • Dash Space
    The line can be a dash then this is the space between the dashes.
  • Shadow
    The shadow of the line.

Presets

If you need to apply the same configuration to multiple images, then you can create unlimited presets in the plugin configuration. These presets do appear in the presets list while editing the plugin. If you select one of these, then the form controls will change to the preset value.
