Release information

This is a new version of the DPMedia Joomla media manager extension. Please read the release notes for a complete list of changes in this release.

DPMedia needs the same requirements as Joomla and does run nicely within the following browsers: Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Opera but not Internet Explorer

Installation / Upgrade

To install DPMedia, you have to download the package and upload it through the Joomla installer. You can also install DPMedia through the built in Joomla web installer. After a successful installation configure the the plugins and publish them. More information how to get started with DPMedia can be found in our introduction articles.

To upgrade DPMedia from an earlier version, just install the package with the Joomla installer, DPMedia will handle the upgrade procedure by itself. Mostly this is not needed as the update can be installed with the Joomla update manager in the back end.
