Introduction

The Article DPCalendar plugins offers the possibility to integrate articles with specific custom field data into DPCalendar as events.

Custom fields

As DPCalendar needs some specific data, like the start and end date, from articles to display them as events, the article plugin requires some special custom fields which have to be configure in the article calendar:

DPCalendar Options

These settings are the same for every calendar configured in the plugin.

Start Date Field [Type: Dpcfields]
The article custom field to use as start date.
End Date Field [Type: Dpcfields]
The article custom field to use as end date.
Recurrence Rule Field [Type: Dpcfields]
The article custom field to use as recurrence rule.
Location Field [Type: Dpcfields]
The article custom field to use as location.
Colour Field [Type: Dpcfields]
The article custom field to use as event colour.
Calendar Filter [Type: Dpcalendar] [Default: root]
Select the calendar to filter the articles.
Tags Filter [Type: Tag]
Select the tags to filter the articles.

Plugin Options

Caching [Type: List] [Default: Joomla]
Select whether to cache the calendar data.
The following options are available:
  1. Joomla
  2. Database
  3. Never
Cache Time [Type: Text] [Default: 900]
The time for the cache in sec.
Sync Start [Type: Text] [Default: -3 year]
The relative start date to sync from.
Sync End [Type: Text] [Default: +3 year]
The relative end date to sync from.
Sync Steps [Type: Text] [Default: 1 year]
The sync steps.
