DPMedia 1.3.0 Stable

Release information

This is a new version of the DPMedia Joomla media manager extension. All users are kindly requested to update. Please read the release notes for a complete list of changes in this release.

Prerequisites

DPMedia needs the following environment to run successfully:

• Joomla 4.0 and above
• MySQL >= 5 with the mysqli driver activated
• PHP >= 7.4.0
• Browsers: Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Opera but not Internet Explorer
• Curl is needed when interacting with external systems like Google Drive or Dropbox

Installation

To install DPMedia, you have to download the package and upload it through the Joomla installer. You can also install DPMedia through the built in Joomla web installer. After a successful installation configure the component, modules and the plugins and publish them. More information how to get started with DPMedia can be found in our introduction articles.

Upgrade

To upgrade DPMedia from an earlier version, just install the package or individual extensions with the Joomla installer, DPMedia will handle the upgrade procedure by itself.
